O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 And guard yourselves against the fire which has been prepared for the unbelievers. 131 And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. 132 ۞ Hasten to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and to qualify yourselves for Paradise. Paradise, vast as the heavens and the earth, is prepared for the pious 133 Those who spend (benevolently) in ease as well as in straitness, and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good (to others). 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 The reward of such will be forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever - a bountiful reward for workers! 136 Some traditions have been tried before you – therefore travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell those who denied. 137 This is a plain exposition for men, and a guidance and admonition for the Godfearing. 138 Faint not, neither sorrow; you shall be the upper ones if you are believers. 139 If you have been struck by some misfortune, so they (the disbelievers) too have been struck earlier with the same misfortune; these are the days in which We have allotted turns to people; and so that Allah may make known the believers and may bestow martyrdom to some of you; and Allah does not befriend the unjust. 140 test the faith of the believers, and deprive the unbelievers of (His) blessings. 141 Did you think that you could go to Paradise before God knew which of you fought for His cause and which of you bore patience? 142 You certainly wished to die (for the cause of God) before you actually faced death. Then you faced death (in the battlefield and only a few of you had the true desire to die). 143
