Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
