Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
