Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
