People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men, 1 the King of mankind, 2 The God of mankind, 3 "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah), 4 Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - 5 whether he be from the jinn or humans.” 6

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
