Children of Israel! remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil My covenant, and I shall fulfil your covenant, and Me alone shall ye dread. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it). 42 Attend to your prayers, give the zakat [prescribed alms] and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded, 45 (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return. 46
