Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On a straight path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
