The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
