Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
