The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
