And do not think Allah to be heedless of what the unjust do; He only respites them to a day on which the eyes shall be fixedly open, 42 They running forward with necks outstretched, their heads uplifted, their gaze returning not towards them, and their hearts a (gaping) void! 43 (Muhammad), warn the people of the day when torment will approach them and the unjust will say, "Lord, give us respite for a little time so that we may answer your call and follow the Messengers." (The answer to their prayer will be), "Did you not swear before that you would never perish? 44 You said so even though you had lived in the dwellings of those who had wronged themselves (by sinning), and you were aware how We dealt with them, and We had even explained to you all this by giving examples. 45 Mighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their plots were (well) within the sight of Allah, even though they were such as to shake the hills! 46 So do not deem that God will fail in His promise to His Messengers; surely God is All-mighty, Vengeful. 47 On the day when the earth will be changed to other than this earth, and the heavens – and they will all come forth standing before Allah, the One, the Dominant above all. 48 And on that day you will see the guilty linked together in chains. 49 Their cloaks will be of pitch and fire will cover their faces. 50 In order that Allah may repay each soul what it had earned; indeed Allah spends no time in judging the account. 51 This is a message for mankind that they may take a warning from it, and may know that He is the one and only God, and that men of wisdom may reflect. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
