Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 “When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!” 3 We know very well what the earth takes away from them: We hold a book which records all things. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
