▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
