In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On thrones decorated, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and continuous shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 and made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
