The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
