Tell them: "O my creatures who have come to belief, have fear of displeasing your Lord. There is good for those who do good in this world, and productive is God's earth. Only those who persevere will get their reward measureless." 10 Say: I am commanded that I should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience. 11 and I am bidden to be the first of those who surrender to Him.” 12 Say: I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of a grievous day. 13 Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion, 14 as for yourselves, worship anything you please besides Him!" Say, "The real losers will be those who lose themselves and all their kith and kin on the Day of Resurrection. That is the [most] obvious loss. 15 They shall have Layers of Fire above them, and Layers (of Fire) below them: with this doth Allah warn off his servants: "O My Servants! then fear ye Me!" 16 Those who eschew the serving of idols and turn penitent to God, for them is good tidings! So give thou good tidings to My servants 17 Who hearken unto the word and follow that which is the excellent thereof. These are they whom Allah hath guided, and those are men of understanding. 18 Is, then, one against whom the decree of Punishment is justly due (equal to one who eschews Evil)? Wouldst thou, then, deliver one (who is) in the Fire? 19 But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise. 20 Did you not see that it is Allah Who sent down water from the sky, and then with it made springs in the earth, and then with it produces crops of various colours, and then it dries up and you see it has become yellow, and He then fragments them into small pieces; indeed in this is a reminder for people of intellect. 21
