On the day when We shall call all men with their record, and whoso is given his book in his right hand -- those shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread. 71 But those who were blind in this world, will be blind in the hereafter, and most astray from the Path. 72 And surely they had purposed to turn you away from that which We have revealed to you, that you should forge against Us other than that, and then they would certainly have taken you for a friend. 73 And had We not made thee firm [in faith,] thou might have inclined to them a little 74 Had you done so, We would certainly have made you face double punishment in this life and after your death and you would have found none to help you. 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration. 77
