The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -- 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 It is the star shining brightly. 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 He was created of spurting water 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 Now, verily, He [who thus creates man in the first instance] is well able to bring him back [to life] 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 And the earth splitting (with plants); 12 this is indeed a Decisive Word, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)). 15 and I am devising guile. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
