The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Whereof do they question one another? 1 About the great news - 2 whereupon they are at variance? 3 Nay, but they will come to know! 4 Yes, indeed, before long they will learn all about it. 5 Have We not made the earth as a wide expanse, 6 And the mountains as pegs? 7 We created you in pairs, 8 And made your sleep a rest. 9 The night a covering, 10 And made the day for livelihood 11 And We have built above you seven strong (heavens), 12 And placed a lamp therein brightly burning. 13 and sent down heavy rains from the clouds 14 That We may produce therewith corn and vegetables, 15 and gardens luxuriant. 16 Indeed the Day of Decision is a time fixed. 17 the day the Trumpet is blown, and you shall come in troops, 18 and heaven is opened, having gates, 19 and the mountains will be set in motion and become a mirage. 20 Truly, Hell is a place of ambush, 21 for the insolent a resort, 22 They will dwell therein for ages. 23 Therein taste they neither coolness nor (any) drink 24 save boiling water and a stinking fluid -- 25 a befitting recompense for their deeds. 26 For that they used not to fear any account (for their deeds), 27 But they belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, and that which Our Prophet (Peace be upon him) brought) completely. 28 but We have placed on record every single thing [of what they did]. 29 "So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment." 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
