The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and by the promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they were sitting near it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
