What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 high above? 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
