Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Surely We are able to reform even his finger-tips. 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 He asks, “When will be the Day of Resurrection?” 6 So, when the sight shall be dazed, 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 And the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?" 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 even though he might make up excuses. 15 (Muhammad), do not move your tongue too quickly to recite the Quran. 16 We Ourself shall see to its collection and recital. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 22 Looking to their Lord. 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 Imagining that there will befall them a waiste-breaking calomity. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And it is said: Who will be a magician? 27 And he is sure that it is the (hour of) parting 28 And affliction is combined with affliction; 29 The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)! 30
