Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
