The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
