Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ HALLOWED be He in whose hand all dominion rests, since He has the power to will anything: 1 He created death and life so that He might test you, and find out which of you is best in conduct. He is the Mighty, the Most Forgiving One. 2 Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no incongruity in the creation of the Beneficent Allah; then look again, can you see any disorder? 3 Look twice (and keep on looking), your eyes will only become dull and tired. 4 And indeed, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with lights, and have made them the object of futile guesses for the evil ones [from among men]: and for them have We readied suffering through a blazing flame 5 And for those who disbelieved in their Lord, is the punishment of hell; and what a wretched outcome! 6 They will hear it hissing when they will be thrown into it, and it is boiling. 7 as though it will burst with rage. Every time a multitude is cast into it, its keepers will ask them: “Did no warner come to you?” 8 They will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'" 9 And they will say, “Had we listened or understood, we would not have been among the people of hell.” 10 They will confess to their sins, but the dwellers of hell will be far away from God's (mercy). 11 Verily those who dread their Lord unseen, theirs shall be forgiveness and a great hire. 12 AND [know, O men, that] whether you keep your beliefs secret or state them openly, He has full knowledge indeed of all that is in [your] hearts. 13 How could it be that He who has created [all] should not know [all]? Yea, He alone is unfathomable [in His wisdom,] aware! 14
