The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 by those that swim serenely 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 by those that direct an affair! 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 (Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 Even if we should be decayed bones? 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 Indeed, it will be but one shout, 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 And say, "Hast thou the will to purify thyself; 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 and then he gathered [his great ones,] and called [unto his people,] 23 And then said, “I am your most supreme lord.” 24 you pay attention 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
