Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
