Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Who dissimulate 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
