And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention in the Book Ishmael; he was true to his promise, and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined his household to observe Prayer and to give Zakah (purifying alms); and his Lord was well pleased with him. 55 And make mention in the Scripture of Idris. Lo! he was a saint, a prophet; 56 And We raised him to a lofty station. 57 These are (some of) those who were favoured by God among the prophets of the progeny of Adam, and of those We bore in the ark with Noah, and the offspring of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and We chose, for they bowed weeping in adoration when the revelations of Ar-Rahman were recited to them. ۩ 58 ۞ Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell. 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear in it anything vain; they shall hear only what is good; and they shall have their provision in it, morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
