Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
