T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed. 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Most Compassionate Lord is settled on the Throne (of the Universe). 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 Lo! he saw a fire [in the desert]; and so he said to his family: "Wait here! Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]: perhaps I can bring you a brand there from, or find at the fire some guidance." 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 Moses answered: "This is my staff. I lean on it (when I walk), and with it I beat down leaves for my flock, and I have many other uses for it." 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign 22 That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 23 "Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant, and as a tyrant)." 24
