Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
