And recite unto them the story of Ibrahim. 69 When he said unto his father and his people: what worship ye? 70 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." 71 He asked them, "Can the idols hear you when you pray to them 72 or do they cause you any benefit or harm?" 73 They said: nay; but we found our fathers doing in this wise. 74 (Abraham) said, "Do you know that what you worship 75 and what your grandfathers worshipped 76 Yet they are my enemies except the Lord of all the worlds 77 "Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me; 78 He Who feedeth me and giveth me to drink. 79 and Who, when I am ill, heals me; 80 “And He will give me death, then resurrect me.” 81 “And the One Who, upon Whom I pin my hopes, will forgive me my mistakes on the Day of Judgement.” 82 Lord, grant me authority. Join me to the righteous ones. 83 And appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the latter. 84 Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss 85 "And forgive my father - for, verily, he is among those who have gone astray 86 And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; 87 The day when wealth and sons avail not (any man) 88 But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." 89 On the Day of Judgment Paradise will be brought near the pious 90 And Hell made visible to those who had gone astray. 91 And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship 92 Beside Allah? Can they succour you or succour themselves? 93 Then they will be thrown headlong into Hell, both they and the misguided ones, 94 And all the armies of Iblis. (Satan) 95 And they will say while they dispute with one another, 96 "'By Allah, we were truly in an error manifest, 97 when we considered you equal to the Lord of the Universe. 98 And no one misguided us except the criminals. 99 So we have no intercessors, 100 Nor any loving friend. 101 If only we could return we would be among the believers." 102 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 103 Surely, Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
