Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
