The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
