And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 But when it comes upon them suddenly, taking them unawares, 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment? 204 Just think: If We let them enjoy (the good things of life) for a few years more, 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 It was not the devils who brought down the Quran: 210 nor does it behove them, nor does it lie in their power. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 And rely on the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
