Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
