The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
