۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike, 19 Neither darknesses and light, 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 You are only a bearer of warnings. 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture. 25 Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! 26
