And when your Lord called to Moses, saying: 'Go to the harmdoing nation, 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said, 'My Lord, I fear they will cry me lies, 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 They have charged me [with a crime] for which I am afraid they will kill me." 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 They came to the Pharaoh and said, "We are the Messengers of the Lord of the Universe. 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 [Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life? 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you – so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?" 25 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" 28 Pharaoh said: "If you take any god other than me, I will certainly make you one of those (who are rotting) in prison." 29 He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest? 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33
