Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
