3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
