Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
