On the Day that the enemies of God shall be gathered together and driven to the Fire, they shall be formed into groups, and 19 till, when they come close to it, their hearing and their sight and their [very] skins will bear witness against them, speaking of what they were doing [on earth]. 20 And they will ask their skins, "Why did you bear witness against us?" and their skins will reply, "God, who gives speech to all things, has given speech to us [as well], it was He who created you in the first instance and to Him you are [now] brought back, 21 And where could you hide from Him, so that your ears and your eyes and your skins may not testify against you? But you had assumed that Allah does not know most of your deeds! 22 That, your thought which ye did think about your Lord, hath ruined you; and ye find yourselves (this day) among the lost. 23 Then if they will endure, still the fire is their abode, and if they ask for goodwill, then are they not of those who shall be granted goodwill. 24 ۞ And We have assigned unto them some companions who made fairseeming unto them that which was before them and that which was behind them, and justified upon them was the word pronounced on the communities of the jinn and mankind who passed away before them; verily they were the losers. 25
