NOW THOSE who are bent on denying the truth say [unto one another]: "Do not listen to this Qur'an, but rather talk frivolously about it, so that you might gain the upper hand!" 26 We will let the unbelievers taste a terrible punishment, and recompense them with the worst of what they were doing. 27 That requital of God's enemies will be the fire [of the hereafter]: in it will they have an abode of immeasurable duration as an outcome of their having knowingly rejected Our messages. 28 And the unbelievers shall say, 'Our Lord, show us those that led us astray, both jinn and men, and we shall set them underneath our feet, that they may be among the lower ones. 29 Verily those who say: our Lord is Allah, and have thereafter stood fast by it, upon them there shall come down the angels: fear not, nor grieve, and rejoice in the tidings of the Garden which ye have been promised. 30 We are your friends in the life of the world and in the Hereafter; therein yours will be whatsoever your souls desire, and therein yours shall be whatsoever ye call for. 31 “The hospitality of the Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” 32
