The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Abasing exalting. 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In gardens of delight; 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 And clustered plantains, 29 And shade extended 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 and upraised couches. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 And made them virginal, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
