And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (It will be said): 'Of this you have been heedless. Therefore, we have now removed your covering. Today your sight is sharp' 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 (And it is said): Do ye twain hurl to hell each rebel ingrate, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who setteth up another god along with Allah. Do ye twain hurl him to the dreadful doom. 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
