Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 And those who bear the load (of rain), 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 He is made to turn away from it who is (himself) averse. 9 Destroyed are the falsifiers 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 They ask: when is the Day of Requital coming? 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 Little of the night they were wont to slumber. 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised. 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
