We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
