And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
